Applies to this website

This page covers rapportscience.com, including its waitlist, resource signups and investor inquiry form. It does not cover the Rapport app, which is not released. When the app ships it will have its own policy, and anyone on this list will be shown it before they are asked to use the product.

What this site collects

On our preparedness pages, optional usage measurement is off until you accept. If you accept, we use a random browser identifier and a 30-day measurement cookie to count page visits, guide interactions, offer visits and purchases. On public preparedness pages, this includes anonymous click positions and scroll depth. We do not include your email, household entries or screen recordings in these events. Use “Privacy choices” on a preparedness page to decline or withdraw. Withdrawal stops optional browser measurement and requests deletion of the measurement cookies. Your guide access and ability to purchase do not depend on this choice.

If you open checkout for a preparedness kit, we attach a fixed campaign label and page version, when available, to that checkout and any resulting order. This lets us identify which campaign led to a sale. These labels do not contain your browsing history, household entries or arbitrary link parameters. This checkout attribution is separate from optional PostHog measurement.

Netlify, our website host, also provides traffic statistics from its server logs. These include pages served, referring sites and approximate visitor counts based on IP addresses. This measurement does not set analytics cookies or record form entries. The optional browser analytics choice controls PostHog tracking; it does not turn off hosting logs or server-side traffic statistics.

The email address you enter, your email-marketing consent and submission time, and the waitlist audience for the page you joined: consumer, team, or Signal. We also record the signup source and any campaign or referral tags in the link you used.

If you request a free resource, we collect the name and email fields shown on the form, the resource requested and your consent. The household-plan form joins the Rapport email waitlist and requests the guide, as stated beside its button. Other forms may offer a separate waitlist choice, which we record with its time. Your browser remembers that you have opened the guide using a local access flag; that flag contains no name or email address. Your browser can also save checklist selections on your device. Name and email may be reused within the current page to save you typing them again; they are not saved in browser storage.

On the Before you hit send form, you join the Rapport email launch waitlist and request the free workbook. We use your email to send the workbook and Rapport launch updates. We record the request time, resource, delivery receipt and the signup wording you agreed to. You can unsubscribe from launch emails at any time. Earlier workbook-only requests are kept separate from launch email subscriptions. The interactive workbook keeps your writing in the page while it is open. It does not send your answers to our servers or save them for your next visit. Copies and downloaded drafts remain wherever you keep them.

If you send an investor inquiry, we collect your name, email address, message, any firm name you choose to provide, and submission time.

This site does not run advertising trackers or sell your address. The audience and source details help us understand what brought you here and what you asked to hear about. Our providers may keep ordinary technical logs needed to operate and secure their services.

For purchases of The Complete Household Blackout Kit, the seller is Sattari Ventures Corp. We use order and contact details to provide the kit, send access instructions and handle support or refunds.

Why

We use waitlist details to send launch updates and invitations. Resource signups subscribe you to the emails described on the form. The household-plan form covers free resources and Rapport launch updates. We use investor inquiries to respond to your message. Sending an inquiry does not add you to the marketing list.

Text messages

If you subscribe to Rapport text messages, we collect your phone number, records of your consent and unsubscribe requests, messages you send us, and details about message delivery and clicks on links in our texts.

We use this information to send the resource you requested, provide the Rapport updates described when you subscribed, and respond to you. Klaviyo and messaging providers process this information to deliver the service.

We do not sell your phone number or share your SMS opt-in data or consent with other businesses for their marketing.

Reply STOP to stop marketing texts or HELP for assistance. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Email and text consent are separate.

Who processes it

We use these services to operate the website, manage email subscriptions, provide resources, and respond to inquiries.

How long

We keep waitlist details and inquiries for as long as needed to operate the list, respond to messages, handle requests, and meet applicable obligations. Unsubscribing stops marketing email. It does not by itself delete the profile; you may ask us to delete it.

Your choices

Our marketing emails include an unsubscribe link. You may also ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it, by writing to privacy@rapportscience.com. We will act on it rather than negotiate with you about it.

Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA. We apply the same practice to everyone regardless of address: clear information and a way to request access, corrections or deletion.

Children

This site is not directed to anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their addresses.

Changes

If this changes materially, we will say so on this page and, where it affects you, by email.
